City of Henrietta Convenience Center and Bulky Waste Services
Bulky Waste: New Service starts October 1,2009.
This service is available to Henrietta residents on Tuesdays beginning October 1, 2009, at your curbside to remove itemss that will not fit in your residential cart. To schedule this service please call IESI at
(877) 592-5030 before 5:00 p.m. on Mondays, before the Tuesday collection date.
Small items such as old toys, clothes, etc. must be boxed or bagged. All bulky items to be collected should be placed in the same location where you place your roll-out cart for service.
Examples of Acceptable Bulky Items:
1. Old furniture such as chairs, tables, couches, recliners, lamps; white goods such as space heaters, air conditioners, clothes washers, clothes dryers, dishwashers, stoves, stereos, and televisions.
2. Grass trimmings, leaves and debris bagged in 30-Gallons Bags or smaller.
3. Tree lims, bundled in lengths 48 inches or less and not heavier than 50 lbs.
4. Boxes and other packaging.
The volume to be collected per customer will be limited to a toal of three (3) cubic yards. Items placed on the curb should not exceed 50 lbs per item for collection personnel safety.
3 cubic yards= 4.5 ft. wide x 4.5 ft. long x 4 ft. high
Examples of Unacceptable Bulky Items:
1. Anythng that contains gaseous refrigerants such as refrigerators, freezers, A/C units that contain Freon, or other gaseous refrigerants.
2. Batteries
3. Liquid Waste
4. Regulated medical wastes
5. Asbestos waste
6. Radioactive waste
When you call for bulky item service, be prepared to provide your name, phone number, your physical address of your residence, an accurate description of what is to be collected and where it will be located on your property.
Convenience Center
The City of Henrietta is proud to serve our citizens through their convenience center that is opened every Saturday from 9a.m. to 3 p.m. This center takes non-perishable solid waste that is too large to fit in roll-out
containers, and solid waste in small enough volume to not
warrant a trip to the nearest landfill. The center is regulated by
the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, and operates
in accordance with state requirements.
